Louis, Duke of Joyeuse (1694%E2%80%931724)

Louis de Melun, Duke of Joyeuse was a French noble man. He was the Prince of Epinoy, Baron then Duke of Joyeuse and Peer of France, Baron of Cysoing, Antoing and Wiers, Earl of SaintPol, Viscount of Gand, chtelain de Bapaume, Lord of Villemareuil, of Vaucourtois and of SaintJeanlesDeuxJumeaux.

Louis was the only son born to his parents. His sister Anne Julie Adlade de Melun was born in 1698 and was an ancestor of the future marchal de Soubise, princesse de Cond Madame de Gumn and the murdered duc dEnghien.
